Privacy notice

1. Who we are

AGA Consultants (registration number 2021/011443/07) is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website, across all five divisions: AGA HR & Payroll, AGA Recruitment, AGA Agents, AGA Bites and AGA Gardens.

2. What we collect

When you send an enquiry: your name, company (optional), email address, phone number, the division you are contacting, and your message.

When you request a garden quote: the above, plus your service address and suburb, property type, garden size and condition, the services and dates you want, any additional requirements, optional garden photos, and access instructions.

When you give feedback: your rating and comments, and optionally your name, email address and job reference.

3. Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, arrange site assessments, schedule and carry out services, manage recurring visits, communicate with you about your booking, and improve our services using feedback.

We process this information with your consent, and where it is needed to provide a service you have asked for.

4. Access instructions and photos

Access instructions (such as gate codes) and garden photos are used only to quote for and carry out your service, are kept within our system, and are shared only with the staff and gardening team handling your job.

5. Who we share it with

Your information is available only to authorised AGA Consultants staff and the team assigned to your request.

We use service providers to host this website and send email; they process information on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with any other third parties.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal information for 3 years, unless the law requires us to keep it for longer. After that, it is securely deleted.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information, including secure connections on this website and restricting access to authorised staff.

8. Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by contacting our Information Officer.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
